French doors

When we visit a place, particularly one that was built a long time ago, we find ourselves fascinated with the doors, especially the very old doors that are still in use.  Who lives there?  What goes on behind them?  Here are a few we saw in Provence.
This is the traditional French door where we entered M & M's house.  There are 3 of these across the front of the house.

One of the doors on the castle in Gordes.

In Roussillion.  Loved the color on this one.

In Roussillon.  We called this the Hobbit door because it wasn't very tall.

In Greoux.  The sign means "No Parking."
