Fixing a Leak the Day Before Thanksgiving!

When we got home, we discovered that our suspicions of a leaking pipe from our house out to the meter were true!  We had a man come and look at it the Monday before Thanksgiving and agree with us.  He said he could fix it two days later on the day before Thanksgiving--so we went for it!

Work began at 8 in the morning, by digging a deep hole.

They were able to snake the new tubing through to the house.

Four hours later the deep hole was gone, the lawn was put back and the water was back on. Whew! Thanksgiving was great and worry-free!
